Mind-blowing location, just a short bus ride to the city center, airport, and Haymarket. Super fast wifi, and the cereal and milk provided was a nice touch. The larger bed was jaw-droppingly comfortable. No road or traffic noise due to the flat's location at the back of the house. Cheap price compared to other places in the area. Room was well-equipped with high quality towel, fridge, microwave, and coffee. Plenty of dining options nearby and supermarkets within 300 meters. Easy access to room and the bonus of a fridge outside the door.

The hotel was low-budget with convenient location so close to local shops, and Edinburgh city centre. We did not want to leave there and would have stayed for longer.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house in a great location. The host was friendly and really helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. The accommodation was off the main road, so it was quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel facilities were also excellent, with a fridge outside the room and easy access to transportation options. We were able to take the 100 bus from Drum Braes South to the airport, and there were also plenty of nearby restaurants and takeaways to choose from. the staff, location, and transportation options made our stay enjoyable.
Not one thing.

I keep coming back because it's perfect! The friendly staff helped with my insect bite. Free Wi-Fi, parking, flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle make it convenient. Can't wait to return for New Year!

My recent stay at Netherby Guest House was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh bed linens and a cozy mattress. The hosts, Rita and Jason, were incredibly helpful and even provided a small desk and chair for me to work remotely during the day. I was pleasantly surprised to find a fridge outside the room, which came in handy for storing food. The location was great, with a lovely open space/park just a short walk away. I also appreciated the tea, coffee, cereal, and milk provided for breakfast. I highly recommend Netherby Guest House for a pleasant and convenient stay in Edinburgh.

The location of the guest house was convenient, with bus stops nearby and a variety of restaurants and takeaways to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the provision of a fridge with fresh milk was a nice touch.
There were no bedside tables or lights on one side of the double bed, making it difficult to read or have belongings within reach.

Great location close to both the airport and city center, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host was friendly and extremely helpful, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I appreciated the availability of breakfast options such as cereal and porridge, along with milk, which could be taken back to the room. The comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep, despite the busy road outside.
The noise from the main road was quite disruptive, making it difficult to sleep, especially during the night. It would have been preferable to have a designated area to sit and eat breakfast, rather than having to do so on the bed.

We got great value for our money at Netherby Guest House. The room was comfy with fresh bed linens and a comfortable mattress. The location was perfect, between the airport and the city, with easy access to buses. The staff, Rita and Jason, were extremely helpful and even set up a small desk and chair for me to work during the day. There was also a lovely open space/park nearby for evening walks or runs.
The food for breakfast could be improved with some "grab and go" options like pre-packed croissants.
